" A Day of Discovery and Connection : Induction Day3 Highlights!"

SCHOOL INDUCTION PROGRAMME -DAY 3

OCTOBER 23 , 2024

                      On the third day of induction programme , I signed in at 9:30 am in the office room. Following that, in the third hoor, i shared a class with Alaka in 8A on the topic of metals.
       
                     Alaka introduced the topic and explained the properties  of metals including maleability, ductility, thermal conductivity. She then handed over the class to me , and I took the oppurtunity to explain additional properties of metals such as hardness, sonority, metallic lustre. 

                     To illustrate these concepts , I divided the student into two groups and demonstrated examples of hardness and sonirity. After this I concluded the lesson by explaining the properties once more and engaging in an interactive session with the students by question and answer session.

In the afternoon, I served the food to the students, which was a wonderful experience.

Overall the third day of induction programme is a valuable learning experience. I gained insight into teaching methods, students behaviour and classroom management. I also had the oppurtunity to share a lesson with Alaka  and engage with the students in a meaningful way.

                                  DRAMA FEST             On March 11, our school's BEd students organized a Drama Fest under the guidance of Priyatha Miss. The event featured five captivating dramas, each presented by a different department: English, Maths, Physical Science, Natural Science, and Social Science. Study Tour

                              STUDY TOUR               From April 3 to 8, our BEd students embarked on a study tour to Coorg, Chikmagalur, Belur, and Udupi in Karnataka. The trip was a wonderful experience, allowing us to explore new places and learn beyond the classroom. Accompanied by five staff members and our Principal, we enjoyed the scenic beauty and cultural richness of the destinations. The tour was a great opportunity to bond with peers and teachers, creating lasting memories. It was an enriching experience that combined academics with adventure, making it a memorable part of our BEd curriculum. The trip was truly enjoyable and insightful.

Second Week Teaching Practice

          SECOND WEEK TEACHING PRACTICE                       ( 21/07/2025 - 26/07/2025 ) Last week was an eventful one at school, filled with various activities and learning experiences. Here's a recap of the highlights: Monday, 21/07/2025: Moon Day Celebration The week began with a special assembly to celebrate Moon Day. Students showcased their creativity through posters, speeches, quizzes, and working models. It was impressive to see the enthusiasm and talent on display. In the 3rd hour, I taught 8A about non-contact forces, which was observed by our concerned option teacher, Shyam sir. The feedback was invaluable, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to improve my teaching skills.
