UNITY DAY CELEBRATION

 UNITY DAY CELEBRATION - OCTOBER 31 , 2024

                       Sabarigiri College of Education celebrated Unity Day on October 31st in coordination with the National Service Scheme (NSS). The event commenced with a grand procession, followed by a welcome address by the principal. A PowerPoint presentation on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's life and legacy highlighted his contributions to India's freedom struggle and vision for a united India. Students and staff took a Unity Pledge, vowing to promote national unity and integrity. A poster presentation competition showcased creative posters promoting unity and patriotism. Cultural programs, including songs, dances, and skits, added to the festive atmosphere. The celebration emphasized the importance of national unity and the role of youth in maintaining it. The event concluded with a sense of pride and responsibility among the participants, inspired by Sardar Patel's quote, "Unity is strength... when there is unity, there is always victory." The successful celebration was a testament to the collective efforts of the NSS unit, students, staff, and management.

                                  DRAMA FEST             On March 11, our school's BEd students organized a Drama Fest under the guidance of Priyatha Miss. The event featured five captivating dramas, each presented by a different department: English, Maths, Physical Science, Natural Science, and Social Science. The dramas were based on themes from the SCERT textbook, showcasing the students' creativity and understanding of the curriculum. Study Tour

                              STUDY TOUR               From April 3 to 8, our BEd students embarked on a study tour to Coorg, Chikmagalur, Belur, and Udupi in Karnataka. The trip was a wonderful experience, allowing us to explore new places and learn beyond the classroom. Accompanied by five staff members and our Principal, we enjoyed the scenic beauty and cultural richness of the destinations. The tour was a great opportunity to bond with peers and teachers, creating lasting memories. It was an enriching experience that combined academics with adventure, making it a memorable part of our BEd curriculum. The trip was truly enjoyable and insightful.

          SECOND WEEK TEACHING PRACTICE                       ( 21/07/2025 - 26/07/2025 ) Last week was an eventful one at school, filled with various activities and learning experiences. Here's a recap of the highlights: Monday, 21/07/2025: Moon Day Celebration The week began with a special assembly to celebrate Moon Day. Students showcased their creativity through posters, speeches, quizzes, and working models. It was impressive to see the enthusiasm and talent on display. In the 3rd hour, I taught 8A about non-contact forces, which was observed by our concerned option teacher, Shyam sir. The feedback was invaluable, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to improve my teaching skills.
