                      September 12 

                On September 12, Sabarigiri B.Ed College celebrated Onam with great enthusiasm. As first-year student-teachers, it was our first Onam celebration at the college, and we were thrilled to be part of it. We were assigned to different committees, with specific duties. I was part of the decorating committee, and we worked tirelessly to create a beautiful athapookalam and decorate the college. The event started at 11:00 am, with inspiring messages from our founder chairman and principal. The celebration continued with games, Onam songs, and dance performances. A delicious sadhya was served at noon, followed by a vadamvali competition. The senior team won, earning a bunch of bananas as a prize. The program concluded at 3:30 pm, after which we completed our cleaning duties. It was a memorable day filled with fun, camaraderie, and celebration, leaving a lasting impression on all of us. The event showcased our college's spirit and unity.

Study Tour

                              STUDY TOUR               From April 3 to 8, our BEd students embarked on a study tour to Coorg, Chikmagalur, Belur, and Udupi in Karnataka. The trip was a wonderful experience, allowing us to explore new places and learn beyond the classroom. Accompanied by five staff members and our Principal, we enjoyed the scenic beauty and cultural richness of the destinations. The tour was a great opportunity to bond with peers and teachers, creating lasting memories. It was an enriching experience that combined academics with adventure, making it a memorable part of our BEd curriculum. The trip was truly enjoyable and insightful.

          SECOND WEEK TEACHING PRACTICE                       ( 21/07/2025 - 26/07/2025 ) Last week was an eventful one at school, filled with various activities and learning experiences. Here's a recap of the highlights: Monday, 21/07/2025: Moon Day Celebration The week began with a special assembly to celebrate Moon Day. Students showcased their creativity through posters, speeches, quizzes, and working models. It was impressive to see the enthusiasm and talent on display. In the 3rd hour, I taught 8A about non-contact forces, which was observed by our concerned option teacher, Shyam sir. The feedback was invaluable, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to improve my teaching skills.
