Onam Celebration 2025

                Our college celebrated Onam with great joy and enthusiasm on 26th  and 27 th August 2025, marking two days of vibrant festivities and cultural unity. The campus came alive with colorful decorations, cheerful laughter, and the spirit of togetherness that Onam brings.

         On the first day (26/08/2025), a variety of traditional Onam games were organized that filled the campus with energy and excitement. Students actively participated in fun-filled competitions such as Kaserakali, Mittayipirakal, Suchiyum Noolum, and Pazham Theetti Malsaram. These games not only brought out the competitive spirit of the participants but also reminded everyone of the traditional village charm of Kerala’s Onam celebrations. The entire day was filled with laughter, friendly rivalry, and unforgettable moments.

                 The second day (27/08/2025) was marked with cultural and group activities that showcased unity and tradition. The highlight of the day was the grand Megathiruvathira, where students beautifully performed the traditional dance in perfect rhythm and grace. Excitement reached its peak with the energetic Vadam Vali (tug of war), where teams displayed strength and determination amidst the cheering crowd. To add a modern touch to the festivities, a lively flash mob was performed, bringing together tradition and youth culture in a delightful blend.

           The two-day Onam celebration was truly a memorable event for our college community. It beautifully reflected the essence of Onam—togetherness, joy, and cultural pride—while creating lasting memories for everyone who participated.

Study Tour

                              STUDY TOUR               From April 3 to 8, our BEd students embarked on a study tour to Coorg, Chikmagalur, Belur, and Udupi in Karnataka. The trip was a wonderful experience, allowing us to explore new places and learn beyond the classroom. Accompanied by five staff members and our Principal, we enjoyed the scenic beauty and cultural richness of the destinations. The tour was a great opportunity to bond with peers and teachers, creating lasting memories. It was an enriching experience that combined academics with adventure, making it a memorable part of our BEd curriculum. The trip was truly enjoyable and insightful.

Second Week Teaching Practice

          SECOND WEEK TEACHING PRACTICE                       ( 21/07/2025 - 26/07/2025 ) Last week was an eventful one at school, filled with various activities and learning experiences. Here's a recap of the highlights: Monday, 21/07/2025: Moon Day Celebration The week began with a special assembly to celebrate Moon Day. Students showcased their creativity through posters, speeches, quizzes, and working models. It was impressive to see the enthusiasm and talent on display. In the 3rd hour, I taught 8A about non-contact forces, which was observed by our concerned option teacher, Shyam sir. The feedback was invaluable, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to improve my teaching skills.
