“Exploring Concepts and Building Awareness – A Week of Learning, Interaction, and Reflection”

Image
Teaching Science, Touching Lives                       During this week, I engaged in diverse teaching and learning experiences that enhanced both my pedagogical and social awareness skills. I taught key science concepts such as atmospheric pressure, oxidation and reduction reactions, oxidising and reducing agents, oxidation number, and pressure balance using different innovative teaching models including the ICT Model, 5E Model, and Inquiry Training Model. In addition to classroom instruction, I actively participated in a sociometric analysis to understand students’ social relationships and conducted a field study on substance abuse, which aimed to raise awareness about making healthy life choices. This week proved to be both academically enriching and socially meaningful. 29th September 2025 (Monday) I signed in at 9:30 AM. During the second hour, I handled class 8B, where I taught the concept Atmospheric Pressur...

“ Teaching, Teamwork , and Triumph”                                   During this week, I actively participated in both academic and co-curricular activities at school. I conducted several science lessons using innovative models of teaching such as the ICT Model and Inquiry Training Model to make learning more interactive and effective. Additionally, I took part in the school’s Clean and Green Program and the Arts Day Celebrations, which provided opportunities for community engagement, teamwork, and leadership. Each day brought new experiences that enriched my teaching and organizational skills. 23rd September 2025 (Tuesday) I reached the school and signed in at 9:30 AM. In the first hour, I handled class 9B and taught the concept Law of Conservation of Mass using the ICT model. Through a digital presentation, I demonstrated that the mass of reactants equals the mass of products during a c...

“ From Pressure to Formulas -   My Journey Through the Science”   During these three consecutive school days, I actively engaged in both regular and substitution classes across grades 8 and 9. The major concepts covered included atmospheric pressure, chemical formulas, balancing of chemical equations, law of conservation of mass, and pressure balance. I made use of lesson plans, activity-based approaches, and ICT tools to ensure conceptual clarity and student involvement. Each day offered unique classroom experiences that helped enhance my teaching-learning strategies and classroom management skills. 15th September 2025 I signed in at 9:30 AM and had my first class in 8A during the second hour, where I taught the concept of atmospheric pressure. Students actively participated, and I used real-life examples to make the topic relatable. In the fourth hour, I took a substitution class in 9A and introduced the concept of chemical formulas, explaining the symbols and va...

TEACHING MOMENTS AND MEMORIES :                      MY WEEK IN SCHOOL     8th September 2025 (Monday) The day began with a productive class in 8A, where I taught the topic “Measurement of Pressure.” The students actively participated and related the concept to real-life examples, making the session interactive. During the break period, the atmosphere was filled with joy and creativity as students wrote heartfelt letters to their favourite teachers as part of the Teachers’ Day celebration. Their messages reflected deep gratitude and affection. It was a delightful experience to witness such emotional expressions from students, highlighting the strong bond between teachers and learners. 9th September 2025 (Tuesday) In the second hour, I had class with 9B under the supervision of my concerned teacher Honey Miss. Together, we conducted the distribution and analysis of the Chemistry Onam exam papers. The questio...
